Blip produced and offered more than 200 protective visors to a number of Health Care Centers in Porto Metropolitan Area.
The idea came from Fábio Silva, Senior Frontend Developer. He felt the urgent need for protective material in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic and thought of a project that could mitigate the lack of visors that was felt in March and April.
To make everything possible, Fábio had the support of several colleagues from Blip, from the DaVinci Community, who supplied the 3D printer, from 3D Maker, which helped with the printing processes and from the entire community, who donated the necessary materials such as rubber bands and acetate sheets.
This initiative falls within the scope of Blip’s Corporate Social Responsibility, which seeks, together with its employees, to always be at the forefront in supporting the community in which it operates.
